After Hours Emergencies
Life-threatening emergencies: 911
Sometimes when you call us after hours we will not be able to call back for up to an hour. If your child is in serious distress or you think a life-threatening situation may exist, NEVER HESITATE TO GET EMERGENCY CARE FOR YOUR CHILD, CALL 911.
Whenever time allows, instruct the emergency personnel to take your child to Wolfson Children’s Hospital. (Find address and driving instructions below).
Non life-threatening after hour emergencies: (904) 264-4333
Routine calls should be made during regular office hours. If you wish to have the on-call provider paged, call the office number and the answering service will take your information. Many questions can be answered by visiting the website from Nemours (Healthykids.org) or the AAP (Healthychildren.org). If you have us paged, please do not use caller ID block. We cannot call you back if your telephone requires caller ID. If you have not heard back within one hour, please call again.
